Ruben Schade is an IT student, developer, blogger and Wikipedian who reads, watches anime, tends to hit his legs on the underside of tables at the most inopportune of moments, and wonders if you've heard.
In 2012 he's finally started editing more seriously, more often than not from coffee shops. His current focus is adding new articles to Wikipedia's jazz album catalogue, overhauling templates and pages for accessibility, adding to commuter rail articles, and creating userboxes that help us understand each other on a globally reaching public repository of wonderful-ness.
From the 15th of September 2004 to leap day 2012 (how auspicious!), this user was known as Rubenerd, a contraction concatenation Constantinople portmanteau of Ruben and nerd.

Worrying out loud
While he finds the philosophy and mission of Wikipedia noble, he believes administrators who repeatedly have article deletion nominations rejected should have their privileges temporarily or permanently revoked depending on the ratio of offences. He also thinks indiscriminate template boilerplate should always have an accompanying explanation specific to the article or media in question; it's the polite thing to do. Both these proposals would help to discourage the few administrators who abuse their position and give others a bad name.
It is our collective loss that responsible editors like Jim Kloss were driven away by such people.
