Hi SBJ. Thanks you for contributing horticultural information to [[{{{1}}}]]. While Wikipedia certainly benefits from the addition of this sort of information, you might consider also contributing to Wikibooks and Wikiversity, which, like Wikipedia, are projects of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Wikiversity has several learning projects related to horticulture, linked from The Agriculture School and The Plant Sciences School. Of particular interest might be the Bloom Clock, which is a research project aimed at coming up with a global language to describe bloom times, as well as the Plant Identification project, which aims to create quizzes for use in classroom environments (virtual and otherwise).

Wikibooks has a textbook on gardening titled A Wikimanual of Gardening, which is intended to become a comprehensive and exhaustive gardening manual. See this page for an orientation.
