[edit] Info
Born in Derry. I studied in Derry [1] [2] [3], Manchester [4], Belfast [5]. I have worked in Derry, Les Landes, Croydon, Guernsey, Dublin and Edinburgh. I now live and work in Perth, Western Australia. I reckon the BBC website sets a standard in quality. I enjoy adding my own images to wiki (as appropriate) to help illustrate the articles here.

- If you haven't got pop-ups yet - get this.
- References are important,

- http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/templates/ -automate urls to cite templates
- I borrowed this:
- Review the list of newest articles (offset by 10,000). These articles are around 3-5 days old, depending on volume, but still lots to clean up and improve there.
- Visit and comment on AfD nominations with a low number of evaluations. It's difficult to reach consensus with only two or three opinions, so your input would be greatly appreciated.
- Dive into WikiProject: Fact and Reference Check. There is a huge backlog over there, and we are in desperate need of good researchers and fact checkers.
- Look over the lists at Requested Articles. If you see something you're familiar with, take a stab at creating a new article.

The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal near Falkirk in central Scotland. It consists of two diametrically opposed caissons which rotate to lift boats between the two canals through a height of 35 metres. The wheel is always perfectly balanced and, despite its enormous mass, rotates through 180° in less
