I split my Wiki time between the Irish Wikipedia—an Vicipéid—and the English Wikipedia. Since the English Wikipedia had millions of articles by the time I became active here I thought that most of the important work had been done. Now I know otherwise. But the Irish project still gets most of my content-related efforts. My edits to the English Wikipedia, at first, were spillover from my work there.
On the English Wikipedia, I patrol for vandalism, correct typos, rough text, and inaccuracies, and insert Interwiki links where they are missing. Normally I act only when things are clear-cut and leave content to editors who are involved with the subject. Occasionally, I follow a thread of research wherever it leads. I have more than 3,000 edits on the English Wikipedia and over 4,000 on the Irish. I have just under 200 edits on the Spanish Wikipedia, probably something to do with my boredom level. They already have some pretty good vandal patrollers there. I'm learning Catalan, but the Catalan Wiki looks as well ordered as a Hobbit library. My talk page has been vandalized three times.
Neutrality is good, politicization bad.
