My main interests are Goth, the inter-operability of computers, user interfaces, standards compliance (including html, xhtml, css, easy access to the web and related areas).

My favourite programs as I write this are all Mozilla-based, including Firefox, Thunderbird and Sunbird. To this end I have just (sheridan 09:47, 2005 May 10 (UTC)) created a login for the Mozilla Zine knowledge-base (which just happens to be a wiki). I should write more in this section. I spend a lot of time on computers, so you'd have thought I'd have written more than a few notes on my main internet usage programs. But I haven't. So there. Also I want to test the formatting of those userboxes over there, so that they don't ruin the layout of the page.

Visually I like the PRB, Romanticism, Symbolism and Art Nouveau. Literary-wise my favourite book is Gormenghast and my favourite authors are Michael Moorcock, Pterry and Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events.

It turns out I know a number of Wikipedians in real life, amongst them User:Redcountess, User:David_Gerard, User:Arkady_Rose, User:Lproven, User:Ciphergoth, User:Blankinfinity and User:Mattp. If I find more people I know on here I shall probably spin this last paragraph off into a User:Sheridan/friends page. Or maybe not, depends how many there are out there.
