QuickReach[edit]

Most of the development has occurred on the QuickReach concept[1] which is being developed as part of the DARPA/Air Force FALCON Small Launch Vehicle (SLV) program. The design, uses a parashoot to separate the rocket from it's mothership and to correctly orientate the booster for it's burn into space.

Progress[edit]

Air Launch have completed drop tests validating the drop concept[citation needed] as well as tested their XXXX rocket engine[citation needed].

Other applications[edit]

The QuickReach concept has been proposed as the launcher for the CVX crewed orbital transporter by t/space[2]. The much larger QuickReach 2 is a scaled up version of QuickReach that was designed to carry people.
