I am a Danish physicist, but mostly contribute with images. See also my userpages on Commons and the Danish Wikipedia. My main activities are at Commons, where I have initiated the Valued images project.
[edit] Featured Pictures
-
The small settlement Naajaat, Greenland. Thanks to Noodle snacks for restitching the originals and Herbythyme for working on the overexposed areas.
-
Upernavik in midnight sun. Stitch of 2x10 images, edited by Mfield. Another previous and slightly more colorful version is featured on Commons. This image was selected as Picture of the Day on June 21, 2008, which is the national day in Greenland and also the longest day of the year, which I find fitting since it shows the midninght sun.
-
Iceberg with a hole near Sanderson Hope south of Upernavik, Greenland. This photo demonstrates that it is possible to get a point and shoot photograph taken with a typical compact camera featured. I am honored that this photo s used as the lead image in water, which has about 10,000 page hits each day.
