So where things stand is basically like this: Somehow, despite logging in nearly every day to look something up, I have hardly made a single edit in well over a year. How it came about, I have as little an idea as you do; it was not intentional for me to stop editing. Am I retired? No. That is why you will not find Template:Retired anywhere on any of my pages. Looking through my contributions, you will see I have come back for a few isolated things; I will continue to do so. Between those, however, it seems that I have found better time-wasters than Wikipedia (like Facebook, LOL), and that my time as an active editor on here has come to an end—peacefully and quietly, thank God; it was my worst fear at times when I was embroiled in a deep argument over something very serious that I would leave with F-bombs and vitriolic epithets. That has not happened, and if there is only one thing in my editing career here that can make me happy, it is that.
So, please continue to feel free to write on my very nicely laid out talk page (the credit for the design of which belongs more to Sceptre than to myself), which will stay very nicely laid out, and if you would like to add me as a friend on Facebook, please feel free to do that as well, and I will accept your friend request (if I know who you are, and if I'm even on there often enough anymore to accept it, LOL). In the mean time, enjoy your editing, and remember the friendship I enjoyed with you and you enjoyed with me. :) 0900 GMT -8 March 3, 2010
