Jon Kenneth Houghton (1944-present) is an American Portrait Artist, whose portraits include the former CEO of Bank of America Hugh McColl, Sykes International President John Sykes, and former Florida Bar Association President David Ker. His work is also in the collections of Harris Corporation, TRW, The New Mexico Historical Museum, Holmes Regional Hospital, and Health First.

Life and work

Jon Houghton was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1944. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he studied with master lithographer Robert Nelson. In 1986, he was awarded a fellowship with internationally known artist Philip Pearlstein

Mr. Houghton has shown with The American Watercolor Society, The Southeastern Pastel Society, The Portrait Society of Atlanta, The Florida Watercolor society, The Brevard Museum of Art, and The Artist’s Guild of Melbourne. He was founding President of the Brevard Watercolor Society. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
