Hello! I'm Steven Walling. I've been a Wikipedian since 2006 (see my userpage.)
In 2010, I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as part of the Fellowships program, and today I'm a staff member based in San Francisco.
Here at the Foundation, I work to support the growth and continued health of the volunteer communities that build the projects and fulfill Wikimedia's mission. Specifically, I am the Product Manager for the Growth team, where we build and test new ideas for growing the community of editors. Our team is a part of the broader Engineering & Product Development department.
Disclaimer: Although I work for the Wikimedia Foundation, contributions under this account do not necessarily represent the actions or views of the Foundation unless expressly stated otherwise. For example, edits to articles or uploads of other media are done in my individual, personal capacity unless otherwise stated.
You can reach me via my talk page, at swallingwikimedia.org, and as StevenW on IRC.

Thank you for effectively handling the Draft namespace and making sure it was implemented quickly. Hope to see more of such pro-active responses from the Foundation :) TheOriginalSoni (talk) 02:17, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
