Tallulah Mary Sheffield (born April 15th 1985) is an English Actress.
EARLY LIFE
Sheffield was born in Lewisham on 15th April 1985 and moved with her family to Andorra for a few months before settling in Menorca, Spain.
Aged 10 she attended Heathfield St Mary’s, a boarding School in Ascot, Berkshire where she was offered a Drama scholarship. Later she studied at Mander Portman Woodwood (MPW) in London where despite her dyslexia Sheffield left with 3 A’s at A-level and a Photography award.
She then went to study acting at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York. With former alumni including Robert Redford, Adrian Brody, Grace Kelly, Lauren Bacall, Dani DeVito and Kim Cattrall to name a few.
After graduation she secured a place at London University to study Theology and Ethics but before enrolling she got an Agent.
Sheffield has an older brother, Jack, who is trained in Shaolin Gung Fu, two half-sisters, Frisbee and October both teachers and a half-brother Jethro.
CAREER
In her early career Sheffield performed in several amateur Fringe plays in London, including The Diary of Anne Frank and Electra.
In 2006 Sheffield was chosen to be in the coca-cola ‘Lift’ commercial. Marking the return of TV’s Diet Coke Break ‘hunk’ ads after a six-year absence from our screens.
In 2007 she made her Television debut in BBC’s Jekyll with James Nesbitt. Her next TV project was Plus One, for Channel 4, alongside Nigel Harmon, Daniel Mays and Duncan James.
Sheffield appears in the forthcoming film The Portrait of Dorian Gray based on the Oscar Wilde novel of the same name. Starring Ben Barnes, Colin Firth and Fiona Shaw. Directed by Oliver Parker who was nominated for a BAFTA for his adaptation of An Ideal Husband, another Wilde play, and produced by Oscar nominated Barnaby Thompson.
