I have recorded several articles for the Spoken Wikipedia Project.

Bush; Global Warming; New York City; The Notorious B.I.G.; Metallica; Russia; The Dark Knight (film); Britney Spears; London; Charles Darwin; American Civil War; Angelina Jolie; Katy Perry; Kanye West; Manchester United F.C.; Transformers (film); Beyoncé Knowles; Earth; Dwayne Johnson; Franklin D. Roosevelt; Ronald Regan; Michael Jackson

[edit] Guidelines

  1. I don't speak out "scare quotes," though I do say "quote" and "unquote" at the beginning and end of longer quotes.
  2. I don't speak out punctuation during bits of quoted dialogue if it is clear to the listener when the quote starts and ends.
  3. I am not particularly careful to read word for word. Even in featured articles, there are sentences that have been mangled by the addition of one parenthetical statement too many. If I need to gloss a sentence so it reads more fluidly, I do so without making the change in the text.
  4. In general, I don't read figure captions, nor do I read infoboxen.
  5. I ignore all footnotes, though I do read "citation needed" notes as they appear.
