Titoxd is a Wikipedian currently attending his senior year of college. While he is too busy most of the time to post new articles in Wikipedia, he is an active user of this valuable source of information, even before he created his Wiki account in April 2005. He has been a Wikipedia Administrator since October 2005.

Being a bit of an academian, Titoxd is always glad to copyedit the articles he reads to correct grammar mistakes and other conventions.

For those who are wondering why this page is written in 3rd person, I'm practicing my formal writing so I can become a more active member/editor of Wikipedia.

Storming of the Bastille

A hand-tinted French etching depicting the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789. The fall of the Bastille, along with the earlier Tennis Court Oath, is considered the beginning of the French Revolution, which deposed King Louis XVI and instituted the French First Republic.

The caption describes the Bastille, a fortress-prison, as "one of the structures to imprison people under the pretext of heresy." The caption under the lower image reads, "This is how we punish traitors."
