^[1]Photon Infotech, is a next generation internet consulting firm, which helps it customers develop their social media, [2.0] and mobile applications. Photon, was promoted in 1999 by Srinivas and Mukund Balasubramanian, as a process outsourcing company and in 2007 was re-focused as a new age internet consulting company. Srinivas and Mukund also co-promoted Infravio (acquired by WebMethods), a software products company, which developed Web Services and SOA Governance products. They sold Infravio in 2006 for US$ 40 mn to Webmethods, a NASDAQ listed company (WEBM). Photon today, has over 650 customers, including 20 of the Fortune 100 companies. Photon’s customers have won awards, including Johnson & Johnson winning Infoworld Top 100 IT projects award for ^[2].
