I am interested in history, particularly family history. I have written only three articles, two on direct ancestors, Stanhope Aspinwall and his son-in-law, Sir William Neville Hart and the third on the latter's son-in-law, Lieutenant-General Charles Griffiths.

I have made some minor additions and corrections to articles on some of the personalities of the The Wars of the Roses, some of whom are my ancestors, in particular the section at the bottom of some of the articles giving the Ancestors to gt-gt grandparents. I have just done an article on John Scott (Queensland politician), my great great grandfather.

Talk:History of Gaza: Explanation of reversion of edits[edit]

You recently made a note on my user page that you intended to add to the History of Gaza article a sentence as follows:

Apart from a very small part in the exreme north-east, the Gaza Strip was included in the area allocated to the proposed Arab state by the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine. Trahelliven (talk) 21:24, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

You stated that this edit was based on a comparison of the two maps in the article suggesting that there is a tiny corner in the extreme north-east originally allocated to the proposed Jewish State. I have not researched the question and have no opinion one way or the other about this subarea, but suggest that you should find a secondary source that supports this statement rather than relying on your own research.--Federalist51 (talk) 22:41, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
