I reside in the Western United States.

My Western views:

Support the recognition of polygamy (a substantial amount of the Utah Republican Party does as well)

Support the recognition of same-sex marriage (only 28% of Westerners oppose all legal recognition, indeed Hawaii and California recognized same-sex unions as early as the 1990s)

Support euthanasia and other Death With Dignity laws (currently only Oregon has adopted it)

Support the legalization of prostitution (currently only Nevada has adopted it)

Support the legalization of marijuana (all but New Mexico and Utah have medicinal marijuana and Nevada along with Alaska nearly legalized it for recreational purposes in which over 40% of voters agreed with it at the polls)

Support immigration (when everyone is a minority chances are you have more freedom as the government cannot endorse a single one and get away with it, California, Hawaii and New Mexico are states where everyone is a minority including those of European ancestry)

Support a limited government

Support federalism

Support free trade

Support minimal social safety nets
