Born August 16, 1984, I am currently 26 years old. I live in Sunnyvale, California, but am originally from Abington, Pennsylvania.

I am a software engineer at Google where I write back end infrastructure software for mobile ad serving. I have previously worked on embedded software for commercial aircraft at Teledyne Controls, and been a research assistant at the USC Information Sciences Institute, where I studied MAC protocols for wireless sensor networks.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California with minors in Physics and Mathematics, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from UCLA, where I concentrated in CS Theory. My Master's thesis dealt with online algorithms.

In my spare time I write about computer science, programming, and other such related topics on my website, Nerdland.

I am an avid Linux user and free software advocate and former president of the USC Linux User Group.
