Alias used by Michael Rivers originally in Rivers of Mud for his Elf mage. Zanthir was an awesome mage with nearly all spell groups including the ultimately powerful Draconian spell group. By getting an awesome stat roll, and training intelligence from level 1, and equipping leveling equipment from level 1, using all know resources in increase the mana gain per level and practice gain per level, Zanthir had a huge amount of mana to be unleashed with the Draconian group (which has huge mana cost).

Unfortunately Rivers of Mud shut down before Zanthir got a chance to become consummate at any of the draconian spells. If Rivers of Mud somehow ever starts up again (perhaps with a GUI instead of the classic text based version), he may live again.
