Bio Matthew Wharton was born some three quarters of the way through the twentieth century in Primrose Lane. By the age of eight he had seen Star Wars and ET and had lived in four different houses. During this period he had also gained a brother to aid him in battles for the fate of the universe in galaxies far far away.
Unfortunately Matt couldn't battle for the fate of the universe for evermore as like most kids he was forced to get some schooling. Matt found the schooling very easy especially the maths and wondered what the hell all the fuss was about. At some point having survived thirteen years of school Matt found himself studying Electronic & Communication Engineering at the University of Bath.
It was here during the last decade of the twentieth century that the entity known as Electric Inca was to come into existence. Initially born into a Tolkienesque online virtual realm of a now forgotten MUD Electric Inca began his slow spread across the internet. Y2K saw Electric Inca acquire a domain of his own in which to set up home and the name was forever changed from that point on to electricinca. However it wasn't until late 2003 that the gospel according to electricinca saw the light of day in the form of this blog.
Let's drop the third person shite. I seriously cannot remember why or how I came up with the name Electric Inca as I was probably drunk or stoned or both at the time but I have an interest in the ancient cultures of Central and South America and was doing an electrical engineering course at university. I graduated with a B.Eng from the University of Bath, picked up a postgraduate qualification in Software Engineering from the Open University and some professional qualifications from Comptia and Microsoft.
I got a job as a cashier at the Little Theatre Cinema where I'm now a Duty Manager. As well as working at the cinema I've been an unsuccesful writer and entrepreneur but have now finally hit upon a business which is making a profit, namely MJW Publshing Limited publisher of public domain works as audiobooks and e-books.
