Julien Legrand is the author of a series of extremely popular, dark gothic novels that have acheived a cult following in Sri Lanka.

Julien Legrand was born in New Caledonia in 1989. When he was 16 e left home to become a lens grinder in Omsk. However, when he tries to undergo a lens grinding apprenticeship he found out that he did not have the technical apptitude for the work. He wandered about Poland for six months until his lifelong friend Daniel Russell sent him a letter inviting him to a summer house in Australia. He immediatly took a liking to the broad, dusty plains of north west New South Wales and applied for a position in Telemarketing. He got the job. He slowly climbed the ranks until he became the general sub-vice president. He started writing in 1999 with his first novel, Hèll All. The book went triple platinum in one country, Sri Lanka.

Julien now lives with his wife and five children in Missippi, America in a large five bedroom family home inherited from his uncle, Hùbert.
