I don't know why I've been blocked, but I believe it's because the Proxies in Iraq are similar from user to user. Any case, please unblock me. Chaldean (talk) 16:03, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit] IP block exempt
I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.
If you still have problems, cut-and-paste the block message you're getting, with another unblock request, and I or another admin will have another look. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 19:19, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

No prob bro... BTW if you have knowledge in Syriac you might contribute with arc.wiki. Their content is meagre and any extra article would be welcomed.--Rafy talk 19:00, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Ethnic football teams in Finland
There are a few ethnic clubs in Finland but nothing like the number in Sweden. I provide a list below but it is not comprehensive. Clubs in the lower divisions come and go very quickly - making it hard to keep track!
FC Kurd - http://fckurdistan.nettisivu.org/ - a Division 5 club from Jyväskylä
FC Bosna - http://www.fcbosna.webs.com/ - a Division 5 club from Turku
SAYKUS (Suomi-Arabia Ystävyys, Kulttuuri ja Urheilu Seura) http://saykus.blogspot.com/ - a Division 5 club from Helsinki
FC Persia - http://anjoman.fi/futsal/ - from Turku (were a Division 6 club)
FC Komar Kurdistan - http://www.fckomar.net/ - a Division 6 club from Turku
KF Kosova - http://www.bashkimi-ry.fi/finish/kfkosovo.htm - club from Turku
FC Nations United - http://www.fcnationsunited.com/ - a Division 5 club from Turku that contains a mix of nationalities
Turku seems to have the most ethnic clubs - see Turku SPL as a source - http://www.resultcode.fi/sarjat/piirin_seurat_nayta.php?piiri_id=100004
Sorry I cannot identify any Assyrian/Syriac teams - not even in Oulu!
Kind regards

[edit] Hello
Hi Chaldean, I'm posting this message on your talk page because I noticed that you've recently created the new article List of Assyrian-Syriac football teams in Sweden--However, I noticed there are some holes that may need filling: the article currently does not contain enough references. As a new article, the most important thing is to find reliable references for all existing information. It would be great if you could also clean-up the related article West Division (NHL).
It's nice to see you editing! Jipinghe (talk) 00:14, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Help
Hi my Assyrian friend, I would like to ask you if you have (or you know a place wher I can find one) a relevant ethnic map of Iraq, which I can use to make an ethnic map of the distribution of Assyrians by districts (smallest administrative unit) of Iraq.
I found one on Columbia University website about the Middle east - http://gulf2000.columbia.edu/images/maps/Iraq_Ethnic_lg.jpg
Do you think this is a good one and shows all the areas where Christian Assyrians live??? If no, if it's possible, please, give me a link to another more accurate map.
Thank you. Yerevanci, an Armenian interested on Assyrian modern hisotry. --Yerevanci (talk) 01:32, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- So the area of so-called "Iraqi Kurdistan" (except Kirkuk) is pretty much accurate???
- I just want to make a map for that part, not for the area outside of Assyrian homeland, like near Baghdad, because if an Assyrian autonomy will ever be realized it won't include Baghdad. --Yerevanci (talk) 22:34, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Proposals for an Assyrian autonomy or state
Currently, I'm trying to clean up the Assyrian independence and also I made a new article called Proposals for an Assyrian autonomy or state. And I would like to ask you contirbute in anyway if you can. Also, I have a question for you. Is it true that most current Assyrian autonomy/state proposals include the Shekhan, Al-Hamdaniya, Tel Keppe districts of Ninawa Governorate of Iraq?? If yes, are there any political/civil movements supporting this idea?? I had concluded to this by doing some online and found some non-professional pictures like this without any source:
- http://media.photobucket.com/image/ancient%20mesopotamia/missionassyria/Assyria.jpg?o=21
- http://media.photobucket.com/image/ancient%20mesopotamia/missionassyria/IraqAssyriaMap.jpg?o=19
I understand that these aren't based on anything, but are there any such proposals??--Yerevanci (talk) 00:12, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- I really appreciate your answer. It was really helpful. Thank you.--Yerevanci (talk) 22:08, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
Currently, I'm trying to make a map that would fit for the 19th governorate. So, you had said that Akre is now part of Dohuk governorate. Do you mean that all the administrative maps of Iraq are old?? And could you please tell when did that happen?? Also, are there any proposals for the name of a new governorate??? Or it's just proposed to be the "19th governorate"??--Yerevanci (talk) 17:18, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there, Sorry for popping u uninvited in Chaldean's talk page but I think I might help with few issues here. Akre is de facto part of the KRG but the final situation is yet to be decided as the central government still considers it part of Nineveh. If anybody have ideas for new maps I can help by creating SVG versions of them. Regards.--Rafy talk 19:35, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Shaqlawa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kurdish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit] Iraq
Hi Chaldean, hope you're well. Happy New Year to you and also a belated Happy Christmas if you celebrate. Thanks for the barnstar - much appreciated! Just had a spurt of Wikipedia editing after lull for a couple of years. Still focussing on Iraq, but tempted to branch out towards Syria, given the inevitably large number of opposition politicians there that are currently little known but could become important! How about you, working on anything exciting? AndrewRT(Talk) 23:15, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
- The district maps sound interesting - would you like some help with that? I've got inkscape whcih is quite good at doing the coloured location maps used elsewhere. I meant to say - yes I've seen Musings before - great site, lots of good quality stuff on there. AndrewRT(Talk) 22:35, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
[edit] Map copyright
Hi Chaldean. Could I just check with you - this map here: File:Assyrian_autonomy_map_2003.jpg has an AINA watermark on it but was uploaded as GDFL. Do you know if AINA has given permission to reuse their map like this? Thanks AndrewRT(Talk) 20:36, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
- Brilliant - thanks. I'll check whether this should be submitted to OTRS, in case someone else asks too. Nice as a precedent too, because I'm sure AINA has some great photos we could use! AndrewRT(Talk) 15:16, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Erbil/Arbil
I undid your name change in the Erbil article since it does not comply with WP naming conventions. Please see Talk:Arbil#Recent name change for explanation and how you can change Arbil into Erbil (without Iraq added to the name). Hope this helps!--Zoeperkoe (talk) 19:52, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
- I moved Erbil to Erbil (disambiguation), I'm assuming you will sort out the detail here. Thanks --Fæ (talk) 10:52, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
