It all started with Brinda Karat attacking Swami Ramdev of using using human skulls in his medicine. My argument for this goes as follows:
I do not know what the truth is. The question is, is it required for a common people like us to know this truth at all. Before answering to this question, you must ask few questions to yourself. 1. Have you heard Swami Ramdevji talking about selling his medicines on TV or in magazines. If yes, how often. As far my view is concerned, I have often heard him talking about Yoga which can be practiced by our own without paying a penny for it. Streching his speeches, he tries at his level to moralize people towards respecting their country and its culture. He keeps on telling people not to follow blindly the west, because then you are a follower and never a leader. You can be a leader in your own heritage and you can gain respect by being a leader and not a follower. 2. How often do you follow Ramdevji's words. I believe - never. Only those people, who have problems like Blood pressure, Diabetes, Heart blockage, migrane, etc - who have not seen a permanent cure in modern medical science - turn towards Swamiji's words and fortunately they have achieved tremendous improvement. They have saved money and above all they have saved their lives - they achieved the normal life they had always desired to live. 3. Before Swamiji's revolution towards health improvement in the country, have you ever realized the country can go disease free. I agree we cannot go 100% health problems eliminated. I also agree Ayurveda is yet to discover its past to declare itself as a matured and proven way of treatment. But at the same time, I also agree that Ayurveda have proven that it is a natural way to achieve complete health. 4. Swami Ramdevji is the only popular saint who have not seen foreign land. He works not less then 15 hours a day. And this is not in his interviews that we have heard this. We see him doing this.
I believe, person who is putting allegations on him has to first stand to his level. Brinda Karat has never worked for the betterment of poor. I can say this because poors have not improved under her recongnizably. If they have, they are very few in numbers. Brinda Karat have not brought any revolution which can effect the mass in totality. How can she? Because she don't have the maturity to do this. And the very fact that she is not the one who cares about the country or the poor reflects from the way she has attacked Swami Ramdevji.
Let us assume for some moment that Brinda Karat's allegations are correct. As a responsible Indian citizen, her first job would have been to take the case into confidentiality. The very reason for this is crores of people in the country are effected positively by Swami Ramdevji. What health minister has been unable to do in 50 years, is being done effectively by the great Saint. And the fact is, his methodology of treatment has brought a new ray of hope to human kind towards not fearing diseases. Hence, attacking such a Saintly person is nearly attacking crores of people's emotions and belief - belief not into Swami Ramdevji, but into our Inidan Vedic Science which is being revealed now a days by these Saints.
I read a story in my childhood that a poor man loved his Horse the most. He was offered huge amounts which could have changed his livelihood for that horse, but he did not go for it. He was threatened by a Dacoit. He was not moved. Then one day another poor man who could not walk properly came and ask him to give a ride on his horse to his home. The poor man agreed and allowed him to ride. He suddenly jerked and rode away with the horse. He was the dacoit. This poor man went sad. The dacoit turned back and told him about the vitory. The poor man said - I am not sad about the horse now because it is gone. I am sad because when this story would get revealed people would stop believing and helping the poor and sufferings. The dacoit returned the horse to him with apology.
I suppose Brinda Karat must also have read this story in her childhood. But I am sure she do not remember this. Because, she would have at least though once - by doing so, crores of people would stop believing on saints.
How is Swamiji wrong in declaring that modern medical science is responsible of bad health in our country? He is not because before the advent of West we have not seen such diseases. We had not heard of such diseases. Before a medicine is discovered, a new disease as well is invented. And people effected are never cured permanently. Only the effect of disease is controlled, and the control through chemicals seems to be fast and hence the faith or believe arose towards this. But in 100s of years, end result is we have gone worse in terms of health.
And a person who is sincerely taking efforts to change this scenario, should never be attacked by a responsible Indian even if some guilt is seen in his actions. I do not say, he cannot be pointed out. But it should be dealth with responsibility and with maturity, which Brinda Karat have not done. This clearly says that she had an intention to defame Swami Ramdevji and indirectly our country as name of Swamiji is not within out country's boundary now.
My purpose of writing this is not to tell against Brinda Karat, but to tell our Indian freinds to go with a person who is positive about making our country. We as an Indian, to whom Swamiji requested to stand for our very creations, should stand in this moment to completly overlook this issue of Brinda Karat and help Swamiji to establish his research work so that our country would stand at the top in world of medical science.
