Grosvenor Railway Bridge, London. Image.

Hello ChrisO,

I write, as a matter of courtesy, to seek permission to use the above noted image, from the "Wikipedia" files, in a book I am commissioned to write about railway structures. The image of Grosvenor Railway Bridge is of superb quality for my purposes and clearly illustrates everything I need to highlight in the book.

I propose the following acknowledgement of your contribution:

"This photograph is the work of "ChrisO"* and is included under the terms of (GNU Licence??) also with the photographer's kind permission."

Best wishes

Chris retired from the project a while back so I doubt you will get a response. If you give me a link to the image, I might be able to help you with the licencing query. Gatoclass (talk) 14:09, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
It looks like it may well be this one that ChrisO uploaded to enwiki and it was moved to commons here - it is under a Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0) license - so I don't see a problem although its a courtesy request - Off2riorob (talk) 14:19, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Motion regarding Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/West Bank - Judea and Samaria

By motion of the Arbitration Committee voted on at requests for amendment,

The editing restrictions placed on Nishidani (talk · contribs) in the West Bank - Judea and Samaria case are lifted effective at the passage of this motion. Nishidani is reminded that articles in the area of conflict, which is identical to the area of conflict as defined by the Palestine-Israel articles case, remain the subject of discretionary sanctions; should he edit within this topic area, those discretionary sanctions continue to apply.
