User talk:LJP
Luke, this is your talk page. Here other people (or you) can talk about you. Article pages have talk pages too. If there are things that people have written that you want to ask them about instead of just changing it you can do that in the talk page. Other times, the talk pages are used as forums for discussing what a particular article should be like, especially for controversially articles about which people argue. Remember in writing articles to try to take the stance of NPOV (neutral point of view). --Esrogs 00:20, 10 May 2004 (UTC)

It is important that the information in Wikipedia be factual; that is, true and accurate. To ensure that this is the case, one of Wikipedia's core policies is to verify all information being presented. Therefore, when writing about facts, it is very important that you cite your sources! Stick to a factual style even when writing about fiction or opinions. Providing references is particularly important for controversial opinions - instead of using weasel words like some people believe... you should cite sources to help readers learn who believes what, and why. Keep in mind that the folks at Wikipedia's Reference Desk are very knowledgeable across a wide range of subjects, and they may be able to help you track down source references for a particular detail.
