I intend to obtain explicit permission to use any and all copyrighted info from www.lschs.org, I will ask our webmaster tomorrow during school. --Tim 02:12, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Fantastic, but please note that, technically, permission to use it "only on Wikipedia" or "only on the Wikipedia article for the school" doesn't count -- the lawyers are adamant that anything here must be either licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License, released into the public domain, or the copyright holder must "allow anyone to use it for any purpose." In practice, editors find that to be a difficult hurdle to overcome, so please don't be disappointed if Carbello says no (especially given the controversies dispute.)
- For the text, it takes time, but all that can be paraphrased; for the pictures, find someone with a digital camera and take your own. Frankly, you probably know the images which best represent the school better than the P.R. photographers who look for little more than documentary shots framed by pretty tree leaves along the edges. Original photos will give an authentic feel to the article which P.R. photos can't -- do you notice how almost all of the building photos on the web site lack any students in them? That kind of thing is a better representation of a storage warehouse than a school. --James S. 04:38, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
