Scientology misquoted in the news.

Scientology is an often misunderstood Religion/philosophy/science due to the amount of controversy created, in part, by "quick quotes" as "misquotes" in the general media. It is not possible to gain an in depth understanding of the subject of Scientology in the Newspapers or on TV if the information is not coming directly from the original text.

Scientology is best understood by reading a few books on the actual subject by L. Ron Hubbard or listening to a few lectures which can be purchased on cassette or CD.

One of the most sacred quotes by L. Ron Hubbard is, "What is true for you is true for you." It is best for a person to gain an understanding firsthand of what the subject is truly about.

Of course, it might be disputed that the best way to "understand" a product that someone wants to sell to you is to buy it. This is especially true when the seller has literally thousands of unsatisfied customers testifying that they paid exorbitant sums of money and still never got what the seller promised. -- Antaeus Feldspar 15:59, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
