[edit] Welcome Back

Welcome back Sylwia! I hope this time around we can truly find some common ground and work to make the Wikipedia project a better place. I also hope we can work together to smooth out some of the disagreements and policy regarding Polish-Lithuanian history, geography, personalities, and relations. Best. Dr. Dan (talk) 20:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for the welcome, Dan. Alas, I'm not back really. All I remember about Wikipedia is being stalked, called names, and accused of ill will at every turn. One cannot smooth out disagreements if people are full of themselves, narrow-minded, and think that ashaming others into submission is the way to go. I might be tempted to help with Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland from time to time. I think the guys are doing a great job there. But I'd have to lose my mind to want to return to what I remember about my contacts with you. Best likewise.--SylwiaS | talk 22:22, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Like you, I've been stalked, called names, and accused of ill will at many turns, in some quarters. Fortunately this is not all I remember about Wikipedia. Regarding losing one's mind, can't say that I plan to do so any time soon. If offering an olive branch to you garners such a response to my suggestion, so be it. Happy editing. [edit] Welcome back indeed

We missed you. I do hope that you will be a more common sight here once again! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 00:33, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:POLAND#Participants_list

Would you like to add yourself to that list? You are listed as honorary instead of regular member due to your accomplishments and the fact you never bothered to add yourself to the list :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:47, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Monitor. WikiProject Poland Newsletter: Issue 1 (April 2011)

WikiProject Poland Newsletter • April 2011
For our freedom and yours

Welcome to our first issue of WikiProject Poland newsletter, the Monitor (named after the first Polish newspaper).

Our Project has been operational since 1 June, 2005, and also serves as the Poland-related Wikipedia notice board. I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions. We hope you will join us in them, if you haven't done so already! Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; in this year alone about 40 threads have been started on our discussion page, and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised.

In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop:

This is not all; on our page you can find a list of useful templates (including userboxes), awards and other tools!

With all that said, how about you join our discussions at WT:POLAND? Surely, there must be something you could help others with, or perhaps you are in need of assistance yourself?

You have received this newsletter because you are listed as a [member link] at WikiProject Poland. • Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:11, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
