Blocked - legal warning
You have been blocked from editing for posting potentially defamatory claims on Wikipedia edit summaries.
Wikipedia does not tolerate the posting of such claims on its website and takes such posting seriously. All defamation posted in edit summaries is removed from the Wikipedia website and deleted from records and archives. Those who post it are immediately banned from the site and may be reported to their service provider. If a computer in an educational establishment was used to post that claim then that establishment may be informed. You are reminded that defamation is an offence in law.
Under Section 230 of the United States Communications Decency Act, which governs Wikipedia, Wikipedia cannot be sued for the defamation you post. But YOU can be. Your service provider may be able to trace your edits back to you. The person you defamed could get a court order to require that the server release your name, and then sue you personally for defamation in the courts.
Remember: You put yourself at serious risk of a prosecution under the laws of defamation for any defamation you deliberately post.
