[edit] Bristol University Latin American & Ballroom Dancing Society
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Bristol University Latin American & Ballroom Dancing Society, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] GamerWiki -- Check Mii Out Channel Records
I can't find an article about the channels on that website. Where exactly are we putting all this? Versus22 (talk) 05:01, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
The Wii article here is much better than the one on GamerWiki. (The article there is poor). Are you putting all the other channels besides the Check Mii Out Channel article on there, and make a Wii Menu page? Versus22 (talk) 18:29, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Epigram newspaper.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Epigram newspaper.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Note: replaced with more recent cover, uploaded to different filename for some reason. Tim (Xevious) (talk) 11:10, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Future Check Mii Out Contests
Due to the Nintendo Channel possibly coming out in May @ NA & EU, and also WiiWare, I've removed the Check Mii Out Channel from my Wii, so I don't think I'll be recieving anymore contests on my message board as of April 25, 2008. Can you please update the new contests for me on GamerWiki, Xevious? Thank you. (Reply if needed on the "Check Mii Out on GamerWiki" thread you made). Vernon (Versus22) (talk) 03:31, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- The EU hasn't been updated since the list was merged onto the Gamerwiki website, since I live only in NA. Vernon (Versus22) (talk) 15:52, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:EVC vote example.JPG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:EVC vote example.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 74.204.40.46 (talk) 07:37, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

- Note: This occurred since someone had replaced the boxart with a logo, contrary to VG guidelines. This has been rectified. Tim (Xevious) (talk) 11:09, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with File:Bomberman Land Touch.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Bomberman Land Touch.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

[edit] Bombermand Land Touch!
Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines#Screenshots and cover art, English boxarts are to be used of there is one. TJ Spyke 21:16, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- My bad, yours is English too. Doesn't matter, the image I uploaded was uploaded 15 months before yours and there was zero reason to change. TJ Spyke 21:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Rubik's Triamid reinstatement
The article had only 1 edit by an anonymous user, and this was only 1 line "This is a thing."! Please go ahead and create your new article. Jay (talk) 06:33, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] NowCommons: File:Westlooehill.jpg
File:Westlooehill.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:West looe hill.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:West looe hill.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 23:40, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
