October 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Arab people. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 06:17, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

The black population in Venezuela is 2.8% which represents about 181 154 people, according to the last census this population [1]. Mestizos are NOT included in this group because they represent other ethnicity. The main ethnic groups in the country are mestizo and white, the black population of 14.1 million is not as you point are dead wrong. You should respect the policies of wikipedia, I hope this warning Achates.

Edit warring[edit]

You need to contribute to the talk page thread at Talk:Afro-Latin American. Talking is much easier, I dont care who is right, you or Jaam0121 but you both need to stop edit warring♫ SqueakBox talk contribs 01:07, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Afro LatinAmerican[edit]

Hi, actually you are very wrong, I like Venezuelan constantly study geography and ethnography of my country and these drawing conclusions without any sense. According to the last population census in 2011 49.9% of the population is Mestizo and black is 2.8, taking into account that differences in both ethnic census, otherwise would be included in the same thing that is not. Mestizo is a mix of European, African and Native American, and black is a more autochthonous ethnic mix which is not much less "multiracial" as aiming. I suggest that you abide by the policies of the article, the reference for which I rigo is the most reliable and comes from the National Institute of Statistics of Venezuela, but could not be official. Greetings. «Jaam0121 (talk) 0:23, 30 October 2013 (UTC)»

Your recent editing history at Afro-Latin American shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Qwyrxian (talk) 20:36, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
