December 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Your recent edits[edit]

I appreciate all your hard work on adding various awards to Disney film articles, such as Wreck-It Ralph and The Princess and the Frog. However, many of these awards you mention are not considered very notable by the national film community. Wikipedia is not intended to include every bit of information. If you believe an award is indeed notable, please bring it up on the respective article's talk page first. If you have other questions, please feel free to ask them on my talk page or on the article page as noted. Thank you again for your hard work. --McDoobAU93 00:28, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

January 2013[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to The Princess and the Frog does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! McDoobAU93 00:38, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at The Princess and the Frog, you may be blocked from editing. McDoobAU93 20:04, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at The Princess and the Frog. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. McDoobAU93 22:40, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You are invited to discuss your reasoning for changes to the awards section of this and other film articles on the respective talk pages for those films. Please discuss and reach consensus before attempting to add these potentially non-notable awards to the film articles. Thank you. --McDoobAU93 22:42, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 13:16, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

July 2013[edit]

Information icon In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Ginsuloft (talk) 21:59, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

August 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Gold Rush has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Gold Rush was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nt-_DXC-aik) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:33, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

September 2013[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to The Black Cauldron (film), but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 13:42, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

March 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 41st Academy Awards may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • **Frank Bracht] – ''[[The Odd Couple (film)|The Odd Couple]]''

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 23:00, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
