Welcome![edit]

A cup of warm tea to welcome you!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (115.111.61.66) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome!

September 2014[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Cloud computing. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Pattern recognition with this edit, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 06:02, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Sunil Karad[edit]

These edits to Sunil Karad are probably mostly vandal-only or incorrect. If they are, we have the rights to revert them. I'm not an administrator - by "we" I mean the wiki community. Keep that in mind. And don't vandalize pages! --Nick the Red37 (Talk | Contribs) 11:50, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia Manual of Style[edit]

Your edits need to conform to Wikipedias manual of style. You could find an article on a person with a similar background and copy the format from that.

  • The article needs to be broken into sections which look something like ==Education== (before being saved). See MOS:BODY
  • The use of "Dr." preceding a name should be avoided per WP:CREDENTIAL. Note that Albert Einstein does not have "Dr." in front of his name. If anyone deserves that, it would be Einstein. You should use WP:MOS#Section
  • Use bullets "*" instead of numbers "#".
  • Avoid the use of wp:puffery and wp:peacock. Do not use words such as "eminent" and "renowned". If Karad is eminent and renowned, the article should stand on its own without this.
  • I added a welcome section which contains information on editing Wikipedia at the top of your page. I would strongly suggest you familiarize yourself with that.
  • Add more references. Some of what you added are wp:primary sources which are considered highly questionable. See WP:CITE and WP:RELIABLE SOURCES. Also, template:cite web, template:cite journal. If good references are not added, the article may be WP:BIODELETEed. Jim1138 (talk) 16:39, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
