September 2009[edit]

First of all, we have to know about exact population of Non-indigenous ethnics in Pakistan. According to CIA Fact Book, around 6% of total Pakistan's population belongs to other ethnic groups but I am not sure about Non-indigenous. By the way, Wikipedia already maintaining articles relating to every ethnic groups, so I would suggest you compiling a book containing only basic facts of Non-indigenous ethnic groups and no need to write articles. Maybe, we could use book's data as citing sources as well, if your book meet guidelines as stated WP:V.--Gaikokujin  talk  07:31, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Pakistan ranked # 13 by immigrants population, based on the United Nations report World Population Policies 2005. However, my target is only Non-indigenous ethnic groups but I didn't found any thing yet.-- (talk) 08:49, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Better if communicate by email. Wikipedia doesn't allow general discussion not related to it. --Gaikokujin  talk  09:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
I can help out a little bit. There's probably some groups in Pakistan which are too small to have their own Wikipedia articles, but you could still include some information about them. E.g. I know a few Korean newspaper articles about Koreans in Pakistan; it's not enough to write a Wikipedia article, but I could translate them for you if you're interested. cab (talk) 10:31, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
You didn't get my point. I'm working on compiling a free content book containing detailed information about Immigration to Pakistan and Non-indigenous ethnic groups living or working in Pakistan. I'm already in communication with many diplomatic missions located in Pakistan for acquiring exact figures of particular nationality in Pakistan. I'll look forward to include regions with significant populations, languages spoken and religious affiliations of a particular nationality and it would be great, if some Wikipedia user join me to get it done.-- (talk) 11:14, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
He is trying to write a book about almost all foreigners or immigrants belong to different countries weather working or living in Pakistan. I talked to him via Email and he is looking for some interested Wikipedians to collaboratively work with him on his book to get it published soon. By the way, As he said, the content of the book will be free, maybe we could use it for contributing to related Wikipedian articles or for even citing as source but that is another matter.--Gaikokujin  talk  11:46, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Please stop[edit]

While I appreciate what you are trying to do you are not going about it the right way. You must stop spamming editors talk pages with the request. Talk pages are supposed to be used to discuss various points of Wikipedia and not to make contact with others. Thanks. Thanks for asking[edit]

Yes I would be interested in collaborating with you, to the extent of proofing, copyediting and rewriting to get your work into shape if you can produce something that's "almost there". At this point I don't have enough extra time to do more than that. And I probably can't do much work toward it at all until mid-January... User:Pedant (talk) 18:45, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
