What the hell are you talking about?
Somebody defaced a comment. I fixed it. (talk) 16:38, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
you restored a slur against a blp which is not acceptable. Persist and you will be blocked.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 17:13, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Drive-by tagging is discouraged[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Tagging_pages_for_problems#Constructive_tagging - Drive-by tagging is discouraged. Take your own advice and fix the problem yourself, instead of just lazily slapping on tag on an article and disappearing off. Snappy (talk) 21:16, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

If you are asserting ownership of the article, then do the work yourself.
Otherwise leave it for the bloody link rot team of 4 or 5 guys to fix.
You don't have a bloody clue about the workings of link rot at Wikipedia, do you?
I thought not.
Typical. (talk) 21:19, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

  • I don't think anyone is claiming ownership here. Drive-by tagging is indeed discouraged, and the charge of drive-by tagging can be obviated by an attempt to fix the problem in at least some of the articles you tagged. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 21:21, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
I'm not asserting ownership of any article. I'm suggesting that *you* do the hard work yourself of fixing the linkrot, rather than the easy drive by tagging. As I have already pointed out, this is discouraged per Wikipedia guidelines. It's easy to slap a tag and move on, its harder to fix the link rot yourself. Be a hard worker! Snappy (talk) 21:25, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Hey there, please stop with the drive-by tagging, its against Wikipedia policy. You have not done one single improvement on a link, still tagging and going. Snappy (talk) 18:16, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
