Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Qumran. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this article.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place helpme on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. --Old Moonraker (talk) 14:16, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Porterjoh. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to SIG Sauer P226, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Porterjoh (talk) 17:48, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

June 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Southern Railroad of New Jersey may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • including ALCO Century 420, EMD F7As, MLW M-420s, and a Budd Rail Diesel Car (formerly of Maine Central Railroad
