Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996 film). I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Endofskull (talk) 22:11, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. --Ashanda (talk) 23:55, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Goodies (album), makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Longer_periods states, "A closing CE–AD year is normally written with two digits (1881–86) unless it is in a different century from that of the opening year (1881–1986). July 2011[edit]

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Revolver (album), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. freshacconci talktalk 23:33, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! Please source your additions[edit]

Hi there, thank you for contributing to improve Wikipedia. I've noticed you don't include a source when adding material. It's very important that you follow Wikipedia's policy of verifiability when adding or changing material in articles, as consistent failure to do so can lead to you being blocked from editing pages due to disruptive editing. Also, adding an edit summary when making changes will help your fellow Wikipedia editors understand what you're doing, and should lead to fewer instances of your changes being reverted (undone). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or place the {{helpme}} template on this page along with your question. —Darkwind (talk) 17:55, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

January 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm Josh3580. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Josh3580talk/hist 19:04, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Tron: Legacy. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Josh3580talk/hist 19:16, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Waking Sleeping Beauty with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Josh3580talk/hist 19:18, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Rubber Soul. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 01:11, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Like Me, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. Beatles singles[edit]

It is a long-standing common practise on Wikipedia that if a single was not released contemporaneously with an album, it is not listed as a single from that album in the infobox.
