Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 192.122.237.11). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. --h2g2bob 17:29, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from an article. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you of Wikipedia's neutral-point-of-view policy for editors, which you appear to have violated at Earth Liberation Front. In the meantime, please be bold and continue contributing to Wikipedia. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 17:42, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Rockpocket 21:36, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Rashad Jeanty[edit]

Reply to [1]. I knew nothing about Rashad Jeanty so I clicked the "history" tab at top of Rashad Jeanty and then clicked the "last" links at the most recent edits to see what looked like vandalism. This found [2]. Some edits can be reverted by clicking "undo", but not this one due to conflicting intermediate edits. So I clicked "edit this page" at the top of Rashad Jeanty and manually searched and replaced occurrences of "McCooter" while comparing to the vandalism edit. PrimeHunter 17:37, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Button sig2.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 17:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Regional spelling differences[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions.

As you read Wikipedia, you will come across articles written using a variety of English spelling conventions. These are not mistakes, and generally should not be changed. If an article's subject is decidedly British (Trafalgar Square or Arsenal F.C., for example) then it should use British spelling. If the subject is decidedly American (such as Times Square or the New York Yankees), it should use American spelling. If the subject doesn't belong to just one country, as is the case with Freemasonry, the spelling used is at the discretion of the article's original author or, sometimes, community consensus. The dialect used should be uniform throughout each article, so as not to be distracting or confusing to readers, but need not (and should not) be uniform throughout all of Wikipedia.

For more information and comparisons, see the Manual of Style entries on English dialects and English spelling comparisons. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks again for your contributions, and happy editing! Kafziel Complaint Department 21:55, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Colerain High School (Cincinnati, Ohio) appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
