Wikipedia Checkuser.svg CheckUser evidence has determined that this IP address (or network) has been used abusively.
This address (or network) has been blocked temporarily or permanently to prevent further abuse.

In extreme cases, an entire network may be blocked to prevent an abusive user from continually changing their IP address in order to evade blocks or abusing multiple accounts. If you are a registered user and are seeing this message, please follow these instructions.

Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed.

Users: If you already have an account in good standing, you may request IP block exemption to bypass this block. Post an unblock request to your user talk page.

Request reason:

have gone through contibs for this ip and see no vandalism. ip did revert some material related to a polish singer but the version now appears to be used and approved. can someone explain where the vandalism is?

Decline reason:

The vandalism was caused by multiple accounts ehich used this IP address. This information is only available to highly trusted users who have the checkuser ability. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 13:19, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you abuse this procedure by making too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page as long as you are blocked.

Request reason:

That doesn't make sence, this is a shared IP address so multiple users would use it? So you are saying this IP was blocked becuase multiple users were using a shared IP? Does this mean that every shared IP is blocked? I thought it was wiki policy to block users who vandalise and not to block shared IPs

Decline reason:

No, it was blocked because a single person created multiple accounts and used them from this IP address. It is an unfortunate fact that we must do this to public IP addresses, but when a person is engaged in disruptive edits using multiple accounts, the only way to stop the, is to block their (usually public) IP address for long periods of time. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 12:41, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:

It is a business network, so I assume it is someone on my network? I will try to create an account on another computer to get around this problem. Thanks

Decline reason:

not a unblock reason but glad to hear it— Jac16888 (talk) 18:55, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:

I like to keep anon and don't want an account. I see no vandalism in the contribs? can someone explain why we can't edit?

Decline reason:

Every time you use the {unblock} template, you summon a busy administrator to address your problem. For that reason, it is unhelpful for you to use the unblock template to ask questions which have already been answered. In cases where the unblock template is used excessively, admins often protect a talk page from further edits. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:32, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:

I only requested the above unblock template because when i tried to edit it told me to request it. This IP is used by over 2000users. I'm sorry that your busy but that is what happens when you block 2000+ users for no apparent reason.

Decline reason:

The pretend-ignorance is growing tiresome. Declined again and talk page now protected against further abuse. — ➨ ЯEDVERS a sweet and tender hooligan 12:44, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Don't Stop Believin', you may be blocked from editing without further notice. TJRC (talk) 00:26, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
