Hatnotes[edit]

If you are going to go round unnecessarily changing from {{otheruses4}} to {{about}}, then could you please not change the wording in the notices. Many of the ones you have changed now make no sense whatsoever. Please revisit and fix them, or I will take the easy option and simply revert. Regards, wjematherbigissue 12:34, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Also, if you are going to issue notices to editors, it would be better if you were accurate. As discussed on my talk page, {{otheruses4}} is not depreciated, it was simply redirected to {{about}} and the subsequent RfD found no grounds to initiate any mass conversion. In addition, following on from my post above, it is useful for hatnotes to include as much detail as necessary to avoid ambiguity, and it is not useful for you to go round removing essential details. wjematherbigissue 15:31, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
On top of all that it would be helpful to everyone if you followed good practice and used edit summaries. Regards, wjematherbigissue 15:37, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:

(No unblock reason provided)

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  18:17, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page for as long as you are blocked.

How would I go about "appealing" this ban?199.126.224.245 (talk) 17:50, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Why would you want to appeal the ban? Looking at your history, you seem to have taken actions that indicate a clear choice to be banned; I'm not sure what benefit there would be to the encyclopedia in encouraging you to edit further. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:15, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

For the record, here [1] is a link to the discussion that arrived at the community ban. — Carl (CBM · talk) 01:58, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

In the depositional tab at Template:Glaciers, there is no WHITE line above the glacialuvial items. Can someone put it in? Thanks in advance.199.126.224.245 (talk) 08:02, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Is there any reason to do so? I can't see one. On the whole this looks somewhat reminiscent of the arbitrary changes to templates that led to your being banned. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:37, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
