Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (207.157.121.52) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! -- Cirt (talk) 19:49, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to L. Ron Hubbard has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Tyrol5 [Talk] 15:29, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks Tyrol. Not everyone at our institution is of sound body and mind, that's obvious. 207.157.121.92 (talk) 17:45, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

No personal attacks please[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Alzaiem Alazhari University. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:50, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

  • But Delta was being a dick--in truth and verifiably so. There is no need to criticize the article--there is only criticism of Delta's well-known and roundly criticized behavior. You know this to be true. All he had to do was type in a couple of words; instead, he is, as usually, arrogant and bitey. Thank you for your comment, though!

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Austria-Hungary, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. For all I know it is your IP which is socking. you have removed content which was not socked earlier too and which was to be cleaned up. What you have done is mass blanking of the article without reason. If you have issues with the article use the discussion page. A.amitkumar (talk) 17:59, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one year for sock puppetry. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:51, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

  • Apparently, I misunderstood your recent editing history and my block was incorrect. I apologize. Just in case you're wondering, I assure you the block had nothing to do with your finding my RfA boring.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:48, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
    • No problem, kind sir. Yours wasn't the most boring RfA anyway, but you sailed through and that's never exciting for those of us on the peanut gallery. 66.191.153.36 (talk) 20:18, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

July 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm MusikAnimal. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Fox Rothschild, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — MusikAnimal talk 15:22, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, 207.157.121.52. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Fox Rothschild, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Amaury (talk) 15:40, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

I agree with your undo s of Jennifer O'Neil article of Mdann52 edits[edit]

I sent him this: Dear Mdann52: The concensus appears to be that you are simply wrong in your editing of the Jennifer O'Neill page. This is how it has been for the past year and a half. There is absolutely nothing wrong in my humble opinion with a correct description of non-denomination, non-political, non-profit organization. It seems that you are intent upon engaging in an editing war with other editors for no useful purpose. Please stop your stubborn undo s or you risk getting blocked. thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.162.42.99 (talk) 21:43, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
