Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (210.117.176.50) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Recent edits[edit]

When you make an edit, could you please leave an edit summary. Because you are not signing in, there is no way of telling whether you are a useful bona fide editor, ar a vandal, unless someone checks every edit that you make to see what you are doing. Please get a user name, then there is continuity in what you do, and I (and others who watch similar articles) welcome your edits and don't waste our time checking up on them. Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. WolfnixTalk • 04:08, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

October 2010[edit]

Stop hand nuvola.svg This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at List of Nobel laureates by country, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 02:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Carlos Slim[edit]

I apologise for just reverting your recent edit to Carlos Slim. I appreciate that you may not realise that there is a long-standing consensus regarding how to define his religious belief. Wikipedia does operate on the basis of consensus and in these situations it is always better to "talk it out" on the article talk page. However, I should point out that it seems unlikely (to me) that consensus would change as a consequence on this occasion. You are welcome to try, though. - Sitush (talk) 23:31, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

October 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Catholic churches in the United States may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 04:46, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

November 2013[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Tacloban, you may be blocked from editing. Glenn L (talk) 06:35, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

April 2014[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Elizium23 (talk) 06:47, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Catholic Church does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Elizium23 (talk) 06:55, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Nicene Creed may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
