Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:58, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to October 16[edit]

Dear 217.171.129.69,
Some of your edits on the page October 16 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 22:19, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page One instruction set computer has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://impomatic.blogspot.com/2009/01/redcode-interpretter-for-rssb-single.html, http://retrocode.blogspot.com/2009/01/ultimate-risc-one-instruction-set.html). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:20, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page United Kashmir People's National Party has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): (?<![^\s:])[^\s\]\[\{\}\\\|^\/`<>@:]+@\w+(?!\.htm)(?:\.\w+){1,3} (links: kashmirian@hotmail.co.uk). It appears that you inserted an e-mail address to United Kashmir People's National Party. Wikipedia pages should not contain personal information. For more information, please read Wikipedia:Biography of Living People, specifically the section about personal information.

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User talk:Rodhullandemu may be offensive or unwelcome. In general it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 01:08, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is not a 'zombie computer', it's the Three mobile network. By blocking it you're blocking about a third of the Uk's phones and laptops.

Decline reason:

That may be so, but users of those devices who have accounts here can still edit. Networked devices, even at reputable ISPs, can be hacked or mistakenly configured so they show as open proxies even if they're not used for that purpose (we block them all the same). And I really doubt that a major wireless provider would funnel all its traffic through a single IP address. If you'd like a recheck, if you wanna see if you're down wit' OPP, just ask and I or another reviewing admin will make the referral. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:54, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have never edited Wikipedia before, never mind vandalised it. I am using my 3 mobile as a modem, and it seems that I don't have a Static IP. Most likely this IP has been used before. How can I edit? It seems unfair.

Decline reason:

With a dynamic IP this is probably now irrelevant: see Ronhjones's comment below. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:27, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect that by the time a decision is made the user will have a new IP. I've seen a "3" dongle in use - it gives a different IP every time it connects.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:58, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
