Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of birds of Newfoundland and Labrador may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

February 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of cities in Alberta, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Further, your addition of three photos to List of cities in British Columbia has been reverted as they aren't appropriate to that page. Saanich, Delta and the Township of Langley are not cities. They are district municipalities. Consider adding these photos to List of district municipalities in British Columbia instead. Hwy43 (talk) 01:32, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at List of municipalities in Nova Scotia and List of communities in Nova Scotia, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Hwy43 (talk) 05:12, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at List of cities in Alberta. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing.

Your edits have been repeatedly reverted by 117Avenue and myself because the photos force the table down below the final photo resulting in a lot of empty white space on the majority of computer screens. See these edit summaries where we've tried to convey this: [1], [2], [3], [4]. Please refrain from continuing to do this. Hwy43 (talk) 21:35, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

Population estimates[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hwy43. I noticed that you made a change to the articles, Ontario and Quebec, involving substitution of the latest federal census population with a more recent population estimate. It’s since been removed per WP:CANSTYLE#Population, which states “the population figure from the last official Statistics Canada census is the primary and definitive source for population data in articles.” This allows for consistent comparison among all provinces, territories, municipalities and communities across Canada.

Do note however that more recent population estimates can be mentioned in the articles per WP:CANSTYLE#Population, which further states “properly sourced intercensal population updates … may be provided in addition to the 2011 census data.”

If you need guidance on including population figures on Canadian articles, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hwy43 (talk) 02:56, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
