Supervillian[edit]

All of your edits adding 'supervillian' to articles have been reverted. Do not readd them, nor add more. Wikipedia prefers to recognize them as 'characters', leaving their actions as related in stories, or as commentedupon by real world reviewers, to do that other work. there's no need for it, especially considering the number of villians who have also been the protagonists of miniseries', or who have changed attitudes back and forth over the years. ThuranX (talk) 02:25, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

The same goes for adding "superhero" and the even more problematic "anti-hero". Please take a look at [[1]]. - J Greb (talk) 11:07, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Again, please stop. Your additions are breaking the flow of the opening paragraphs and most of them are POV edits anyway. Please, stop adding them. Dac (talk) 21:36, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Also, the 'three reverts in a day' rule has gotten people banned in the past. It's not a pretty thing. FYI. Lots42 (talk) 22:09, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Stop adding Supervillian to numerous pages. Youv'e been told about this more than enough times, further edits like this will shortly result in a block of the IP, preventing editing. Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for Persistent disruptive editing, and ignoring repeated warnings, the most recent violation being this edit to the Sandman (Marvel Comics) article. If you have a registered Wikipedia username, you may log in and continue to edit. Otherwise, once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Nightscream (talk) 03:21, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

December 2008[edit]

Please stop making subjective and speculative edits to articles, as you have done to Pyro (comics), Punisher and others recently. You previously were blocked for a month for making edits of an identical nature and you repeatedly ignored notices on this page from numerous editors to cease. Please, for the last time, stop making these edits. If you wish to experiment, use the sandbox, but do not keep adding these point-of-view edits. Thank you. Dac (talk) 12:48, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Two things:

Information.svg Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Punisher, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified. If it has not been already, it may be removed if the category has not been deemed correct for the subject matter. At a stretch, both cats you tried to add parent to one already there. That you added red link cats, and actually re-added one, indicate you aren't even bothering to check to see if the cat exists let alone if it is redundant.

Stop hand nuvola.svg This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Eddie Brock. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. You have previously been blocked for doggedly insisting on adding POV material into the lead section of article on comic book characters. Stop. Just stop.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for After coming back from a block, it is not a good idea to resume the practices that got you blocked in the first place. You've been warned about the POV pushing edits. And if you start a discussion about an issue, wait for that discussion to run its course instead of re-adding the POV push as you did with Eddie Brock.. You are welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. J Greb (talk) 21:10, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

January 2009[edit]

For the last time, PLEASE do not add POV edits to articles about comic book characters, as you did to Pyro (comics). You have been blocked twice for doing that in the past; how is that not a clear indicator that you should not be doing it? Please, just stop. Dac (talk) 22:53, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

February 2009[edit]

If you are going to edit the infobox's for movies to re-order the cast, please leave an edit summary as to why you picked the particular order. As it stands your edits in this regard have come across as randomly shuffling the actors names, something that is not even close to constructive.

- J Greb (talk) 02:40, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Lets try it this way: Your edits to The Benchwarmers and Superman II seem to be vandalism since you have been given ample warnings about test editing. In that light they have been reverted.
Please, if you feel the list of actors oin a film are in the wrong order, please provide an edit summary explaining why. Continued unexplained shuffling will likely be seen as vandalism and may get you blocked. - J Greb (talk) 02:13, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

June 2009[edit]

Please STOP making your POV editions to comic book characters, as you did to Pyro (comics). You have been told for months now not to make those kind of alterations and have been blocked more than once in the past for doing so. Why do you continue to ignore these requests? Please just stop. Dac (talk) 22:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Stop hand nuvola.svg This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did to Pyro (comics), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - KrakatoaKatie 00:14, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Nuvola apps important.svg Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Stop randomly shuffling cast lists and changing links so the point to Easter eggs rather than what text would indicate.

Also - Stop adding "superhero", "supervillain", and "antihero" to comic book character articles. It is beyond disruptive at this point. - J Greb (talk) 02:20, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

And one last thing - based on WP:BLP, do not categorize living people by religion. This is especially true if the article does not establish that the person is a practitioner of a particular religion. - J Greb (talk) 02:34, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

July 2010[edit]

Hello,

Taking a look at this page and at your edits over the last month or so, there are still issues of disruptive editing:

That's all but one edit made from June 2 through July 5, and all of them are disruptive or what is viewed as vandalism.

Please, stop editing in these manners. Any more edits like these and you will be blocked from editing.

Catholic category[edit]

On Wikipedia a person must self-identify with a particular denomination before being categorized; and the only way to know if they self-identify is a source indicating that the person is currently Catholic (or Baptist, or atheist, or whatever). That standard is frequently violated because many people think they can put anything about a person's religous beliefs in an article without reliable sourcing. That is what is unsourced in the article. If someone grows up an atheist but is now a Christian (see William J. Murray), do we put that person in the "Atheists" category?" MANY people grow up in a particular denomination (or lack thereof in Murray's case) but do not end up claiming that perspective when they are adults. This is a simple matter of following one of the very cornerstones of Wikipedia: "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth." John Cusack may very well be a Catholic right now, but the article doesn't state that. If you want to restore the category, please find a sourced statement to that effect. And remember, the responsibility for sourcing is on the person who adds or restores information. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 01:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

FINAL WARNING -- Adding categories in violation of WP:BLPCAT[edit]
