Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (70.169.149.207) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Piped links[edit]

Hi there. Per WP:EASTEREGG, you should keep piped links as simple and understandable as possible. Therefore, linking like this that makes references that might not be easy to understand are not necessarily helpful. Please keep this in mind in the future. Thanks again for your editing! Swarm u / t 16:54, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

  • Again, you shouldn't be linking something from the Southern United States to an article about "a parliamentary borough or constituency in the United Kingdom". Even if parallels can be drawn, most readers who click on the link will be confused. Swarm 18:14, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
  • This is getting to be a habit. The article on Friedrich Nietzsche should not have a link with the text follow their own "inner law" piped to Thelema. It is also original research to say that what Nietzsche really means is expressed in Aleister Crowley's invented occult system. RJC TalkContribs 20:01, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

March 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Slave breeding in the United States, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:25, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Crysknife[edit]

Nicely done. Your edit to crysknife was a much more elegant approach than mine. I applaud your use of rapier over my use of a mace.

I encourage you to create an account so your good work can be separated from bad work by someone using the same IP address

Best regards,

Hello, I'm Mr. Vernon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Mr. Vernon (talk) 17:32, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Boehm may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
