Information.svg Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your unsourced and out of place edit to Kotrag has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 03:24, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Please stop adding your linguistic analysis to articles. Original research is out of scope of Wikipedia; and, in any case, even if you were able to find a reference for your claims, your additions (e.g. comments like "turkestan must be called kotrakstan and not turkestan") were not written in an encyclopedic style and were out of place at the top of the page. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 03:29, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Togarmah has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made was constructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this message from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • For help, take a look at the introduction.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this message: Togarmah was changed by 99.33.211.25 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.858902 on 2014-04-23T03:35:57+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 03:35, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

For the last time, please stop adding your linguistic analysis to articles; should you continue, you will be blocked from editing. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 03:38, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Your inability to communicate in English[edit]

If you cannot write in English my advice is contribute to a wikipedia in a language you can understand. There are over 280 wikipedias and surely there is one in a language you can speak. 71.246.144.74 (talk) 04:00, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

User: 99.33, you have indicated clearly several times that you are unable to write or understand English.
If you are unable to write or understand English, then there is not much you can ever do for us here at "English" wikipedia.
Anyone else who goes to any wikipedia in a language they don't speak, and repeatedly tries to "correct" the speakers of that language while not knowing anything themselves, is probably not going to be babied for as long as you have been. 71.127.132.182 (talk) 10:17, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Etymology[edit]

As I have already said, original research is out of the scope of Wikipedia.

Take for instance your addition to Turkestan. The article already has an Etymology section with multiple references. You instead claim that the word "Turkestan" is derived from "Kotrak", with no references whatsoever (and without actually saying what "Kotrak" is - there is no article Kotrak on Wikipedia, and in a Google search I wasn't able to find anything relevant.) I am afraid at this point, your contributions cannot be included in the article. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 04:07, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

kotrak is the correct spelling of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kotrag

this is considered a person but this is not correct.

kotrak is what is present day volga bulgaria. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bulgarians_and_Slavs_VI-VII_century.png

there is no references, bcoz i studied these things for years, but there are no references, bcoz these mistypings and misspellings were centuries old.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Oguz. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Oguz was changed by 99.33.211.25 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.97239 on 2014-04-24T19:33:53+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 19:33, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Blocked[edit]

You have been warned not to add original research to articles; now I have blocked you from editing for a day. For the record, if you add a source as a reference, it must specifically support the claim you advance. And Wikipedia can't recursively use itself as a reference.

Until your block expires, please read on the following policies and guidelines:

Mike Rosoft (talk) 19:41, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

mike,

i'm not fluent with the rules and english and computers.

please unblock me. all i did is to privde information and to make aware the different languages what i know with facts from a historical stand point and the native editors

to do the research and editting. i can't edit in 20 languages and to do the research for them. all i did is simply make them aware of the historical findings in order to help them with thier research. tnx a lot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.33.211.25 (talkcontribs)

  • No, I am afraid I am not going to unblock you. You have been repeatedly warned not to add original research to articles; still, you have decided to ignore the warnings and continue adding it.

In plain language: You know, or believe that you know, that a particular name has such-and-such origin. However, you can't add it to Wikipedia without providing a reference that supports your addition. If, as you say, you don't have any third-party reference and the claim originates from your personal research, then you can't add it to Wikipedia at all. Original research is out of the scope of Wikipedia; this is one of the core Wikipedia policies.

Do you understand now why your additions did not belong in the articles? - Mike Rosoft (talk) 02:39, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

ok, i think i do. i think althought i did research by myself and i analyze certain information you are saying that unless i write a disertaion i can't simply add anythin to wikipedia.

i was thinking that if i add what i think is the correct link and analyze and help the native speakers to edit it i their own languge, that might help.

i do aopolozing to you mike, but please understand that things are complicated and not everything is clean. tnx a lot one more time. do you think you can give me your email,so i can give you my recommendations and you to pass that to the people that can do a better job than i do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.33.211.25 (talkcontribs)

  • Well, not really. Even if you write some academic paper about your theories, it'd probably be still too early to include them in articles. Once they are accepted by some relevant experts in the field, then yes, it would be appropriate to include them in the article. Even if experts agree that the theory has no merit, but still it attracts significant third-party attention, then Wikipedia might cover it. (For instance, we have an article about creationism or homeopathy; see the guideline on coverage of fringe theories and undue weight.)

I have my e-mail published on my user page, though in an obfuscated form. Alternately, you can e-mail me through the Wikipedia interface (if you visit my user page, then the link "E-mail this user" can be seen on the left side of it), as long as you have registered an e-mail with Wikipedia yourself. However, I am not really interested in your theories, and don't know anybody to forward them to either. You might try your luck sending it to a peer-reviewed journal, or - if you are an university student - writing a thesis on them.

By the way, when you respond to somebody, you should put your comment under the one you respond to. Likewise, when you start a new discussion on a talk page, you should create a new section by putting the following string on a separate line at the bottom of the page: ==Section name== and writing your comment under it. Don't forget to sign your comment, too, by writing ~~~~ after your comment. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 05:33, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

mike, thank you so very much for your patience and for your clarifications. tnx a lot.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (Insert-signature.png or Button sig.png) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Information icon Hello, I'm Philg88. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Xiongnu without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!  Philg88 talk 09:20, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Xiongnu, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Please do not remove referenced material  Philg88 talk 09:33, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Talk:Xiongnu. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. You have just destroyed all the project banners on the Xiongnu talk page. That is not constructive editing. Please stop posting cryptic messages on my talk page and come to the point.  Philg88 talk 09:44, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

There does not appear to be an unblock request here. Please do not use this template to continue to attack other editors; continuing to do so will lead to the removal of your ability to edit this page. Kuru (talk) 21:40, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired.

how is it that i attacked another editor? there were no reason for me to blocked. yes i'm requesting to be unblocked, bcoz there were no editing.

the reason for me to be blocked was stated as "disruptive editing". so my question was how is it that i was disruptively editing, when i was not editing, but i made a comment in the comment section???????????????????????????????????

also, now that i'm challenging thecritical thinking and i'm asking for a reason why i was blocked, i'm blaimed into "attack of another editor" guys, get your facts straight first.

also,me asking a question, how is that an attack? i'm not scared,if i have to be censored and if i can't use my first amendmend right, then how is that you can be a legitamate?
