Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Village pump". You can also leave a message on my talk page. 76.100.210.208 (talk) 23:46, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 76.100.210.208 (talk) 00:35, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
Any further vandalism will result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. You cannot just copy stuff out of her biography on other sites and put it here. Also, your section about her lifestyle choices is taken out of Emmy Rossum's article. 76.100.210.208 (talk) 00:51, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problems[edit]

Aaron, Masiela Lusha is like any article on Wikipedia, we can't stop representatives of articles creating them but:

  • You create reliable information. As an editor in IMDB, they will carry dates of birth, places of residence without need for citation (I know him/I represent him) being enough.
  • Wikipedia has several codes of conduct and because biographies can lead to legal issues, the Conflict of Issue/Interest basically stops re-writes to articles you have started, been deemed fit and you start to edit in a way that correcting "facts" either deletes sourced sentences or offers new sourced (and unsourced) ideas you have had a hand in.

You have edited it now. It hasn't been flagged as a COI and I would agree she is notable. You have two options - leave it here to be watched and be evaluated; Mark it as a speedy delete because you created it and you believe you or an other editor could not make it better than it exists now.

I would be happy in the circumstances to take it to our system of articles for deletion on a principle that how many people have heard of her? The decision would fall to simple reasoning without a vote. I shall move the Afd on 10th May.

Kind regards

-- EhsanQ (talk) 03:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's problems are simple (a) nobody should tell lies, so every statement should be verifiable from a good place. (b) If concerns are raised then every article should go under a 5 day review to decide if it is a notable person to have an article. (c) that some persons who create articles need to be outside our the editorial process. Those issue are raised in Wikipedia Conflict of Interest.

Wikipedia is very much about lots and lots of people editoring an article which new ideas or new information.

My personal idea is to let the five day deletion process decide whether or not it should be included in Wikipedia or not and I will raise it on 10th May. If it is decided it is notable then a standard dates of birth etc will be included otherwise it will be deleted.

Kind regards

Eshan, you should not be wasting people's time at AfD. You should have done some research to verify your opinion, and thus discoverd the references needed. --Kevin Murray (talk) 21:28, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aaron, many of your links to outside pages are either to bad links or to what appears to be an unverifiable paid subsrciption at IMBD. IMBD is not a reputable source for facts in WP, you should try to find better more credible sources. You should also stand for a while from this article and work on some other projects. People who just work on one project are labeled as single purpose editors and their work becomes suspect under conflict of interest concerns. Ehsan seems to be overstepping his bounds and misunderstands the deletion process. --Kevin Murray (talk) 21:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Aaron I read at Eshan's talk page that you are Masiela's agent. If this si true, you should not be editing her Wikipedia article. This is a serious breach of our rules. Please stop. If you have other information to share with us, please contact an editor who can help with the editing. I will be happy to help you to get verifiable information to the article. --Kevin Murray (talk) 21:54, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm asking Masiela if she knows who Aaron is and what the relationship is. MikeSims (talk) 23:57, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aaron, could you have Mas give you my number and give me a call tomorrow. Thanks. MikeSims (talk) 00:00, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request to participate in University of Washington survey on tool to quickly understand Wikipedians’ reputations[edit]

Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington. In April, we met with some local Wikipedians to learn what they would like to know about other editors’ history and activities (within Wikipedia) when interacting with them on talk pages. The goal of those sessions was to gather feedback to help design an embedded application that could quickly communicate useful information about other Wikipedians. We have now created a few images that we feel represent some of what our participants thought was important. We would appreciate it if you took a few minutes of your time to complete an online survey that investigates whether or not these images would be useful to you. Your quick contribution would be very valuable to our research group and ultimately to Wikipedia. (When finished, the code for this application will be given over to the Wikipedia community to use and/or adjust as they see fit.)

Willing to spend a few minutes taking our survey? Click this link.

Please feel free to share the link with other Wikipedians. The more feedback, the better! The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All data is used for university research purposes only.

Thank you for your time! If you have any questions about our research or research group, please visit our user page. Commprac01 (talk) 21:13, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Drinking the Moon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Self published book with no indication of notability. List of poems with nothing more.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
