November 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to F.I.R. (TV series) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Mayur (talkEmail) 06:13, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

April 2012[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 14:23, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 13[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Chapda, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Devas and Bagli (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Poonam Pandey, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Adding reference on wiki articles[edit]

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown

Adding a well formatted references for these edits[[1]] is very easy to do. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it and then click on "templates", then choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can, this will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the link web URL becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. thanks and regards ---- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 01:23, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Avoid copy pasting news headlines[edit]

Hey, Please avoid copy pasting headlines or just statements from news articles as you did in Nirmal Baba. You must paraphrase and write in your own words. Also, please be mindful of not capitalizing words in the middle of statements. Thanks :) Noopur28 (talk) 09:49, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Vandalism Studies Update - August 2012[edit]

Hello, members of the Vandalism Studies Project! As some of us are quite new with the Vandalism Studies project, it would make sense for us to re-read some of the past studies, as well as studies outside the project. Please do so if you have a chance, just so we can get into the groove of things. We're planning on attempting to salvage the Obama study (or possibly simply convert it to a new Romney study), as well as hopefully begin our third study this November. If you have any ideas for Study 3, please suggest them! If you have any questions please post them on the project talk page. Thanks, and happy editing - we can't wait to begin working on the project! --Dan653 (talk) and Theopolisme :)

Regarding your request for administrative protection of Nirmal Baba, no. There is no vandalism to that page. You are in a content dispute. Pursue dispute resolution. Someguy1221 (talk) 08:07, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Editing of Charkhari article[edit]

It is observed that you recently edited history section of article Charkhari and removed the line that says that it is know as Kashmir of Bundelkhand. Instead of removing it you should have tagged that line "citation needed". This title was given by Pt Govind Vallabh Pant, first CM of Uttar Pradesh. I will try searching a good reference for this but just for information you may check this recent article on the leading English daily of India http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-02-22/lucknow/31086656_1_uma-congress-office-congress-candidate, in this article you will find that Charkhari is referred as Kashmir of Bundelkhand. Before removing the topic of debate please update article's talk page and then proceed accordingly. Rohit Saxena

See WP:BRD. One does not need to post on a talk page before editing. Toddst1 (talk) 14:17, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Some odd edits[edit]

Adam, although it's been a few days, I just wanted to bring to your attention some odd edits of yours on a specific user's pages.

  • This one you actually re-added some text that was quite obviously intended to have been on the person's talkpage, not their userpage
  • Multiple edits to User talk:Surendrav - please do not ever edit-war with a user on their own talkpage. They are permitted to maintain their talkpage as they see fit (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:15, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the info Bwilkins...am reading that section now... but that foreign language stuff on that userpage was written by someone else and reverted by also someone else.... please refer to that user's page history.... thanks--Adamstraw99 (talk) 10:52, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Yes, someone else added it, then someone removed it. As per the link above, you reverted that person's removal. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:12, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
As far as I remember i didn't write anything on that user page....plus i have more than 500 pages under my watchlist and do numerous edits per day...can't actually even recall any user in particular.... though I would read through the guidelines suggested by you.. thanks--Adamstraw99 (talk) 11:47, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
As I said, YOU did not write anything on the userpage, but you REVERTED the removal of some improper text from it. You have also interacted signficantly on their usertalkpage. (Note: the "Talkback" heading is typically only used to tell someone that they have messages elsewhere - the proper method of replying to the same discussion is to keep them under a single heading) (✉→BWilkins←✎) 12:17, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

oops...i didn't know how to use "talkback"...thanks for clarifying--Adamstraw99 (talk) 12:37, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

Notable people in the article[edit]

Hi Adamstraw99,

Pls. do ignore my message and/or simply delete

I just checked that you have deleted some notable names in Ahmednagar article and mensioned that "only people with own active articles can be added so respected "Notable" or "famous" "people" and "personalities" must kindly FIRST create their own article in Wikipedia to get listed". If thi sis true, the same stick should be used for all such lists on wikipedia. Kindly check some of the random list where the articles of some poeple are not created.

I suggest, rather than removing names, we should create the list and motivate the people to create the article on the same... You have also deleted some important references from some other articles like Gorakhpur, Amritsar, Ballia, Bareilly, Bhagalpur, Rajgarh (Rajasthan) and many more. In overall your contribution in last year, you have removed more stuff than contribution. I may be worng in cetain cases but if you have any issue, you need to discuss on wikipedia rather than just ignoring/deleting it. You need to provide the right policy document or give strong back up for your action. If you continue to do so, I would need to take up the matter to admin. level.
