You might want to take the first or possibly the first two sections and make them a lead section of the article so that it would be before the table of contents and the first thing the reader would see when they opened the pageDhastie (talk) 03:02, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the connectionism section it may be good to hyper link nueron, synapse, psychologists, and when you say bottom up and top down there is no page for each specifically but there is one for both it is top-down and bottom-up design so it would take so rewording if you want to do itDhastie (talk) 23:37, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the connectionism and language acquisition section when you say connectionist models are used becasue 1.They can provide principled perceptions of learning and learnability I thought it was a bit confusing what that means also the third point 3.And they can allow inferences concerning the nature and extend of innate knowledge, and innate learning mechanisms where you say "and extend of innate knowledge" there seems to be a word missing or something also it if you can hyperlink language, language aquisition, all three of these phonological learning, semantic learning and grammatical learning as well as modular , universal grammer and noam chomskyDhastie (talk) 23:47, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the reaserach section I thought you did a good job the only thing is you could hyperlink feedforward neural network and if you could simplify the language a bit it might help but that may be hard to do becasue it is about research. If possible maybe adding a future reseach section would be a good way to end the article. Overall the research section was good i thought you covered the research on the field well and in a logical order both in time and how each new peice of research added on to the existing knowledge of the field Overall good job good luck on your examsDhastie (talk) 23:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section: Pattern orientation and symbolic approach seemed unclear..... you might want to specify what each of those means.

Section 2: I think you meant to say "extent"?

Section 3: U-shaped children's learning- you might want to explain exactly how children learn? Explain what U-shaped learning is?

Plunkett 1992 Section: Prototypes are not explained. Might be a good idea to explain in more detail.

Other Views Section: Part of sentence that says 'completely knock out'= language too casual ?

Overall: Excellent break down of research! The reasons connectionist models are useful was a nice way to start your topic off. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmhb (talkcontribs) 12:34, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
