You added a flag to the Sugar page. The text has been discussed and amended, but no-one wants to take the flag off in case we misunderstood your issue with the quote. Aha, I think I see your issue now. I have had sections I have done moved to the Sucrose page when they specifically refer to multiple types of sugar and should be on the sugar page, all related to health effects, so you may well be right about someone attempting to use it as a lobby. I understand your point about the multiple health effects of sugar, though I have tried to switch the introduction section to explain that there are differing opinions, and explain the reasons for such differing opinions, then there are the sub-sections on some of the health effects. There are some sections that still give spurious logic, such as that sugar does not cause diabetes, but can cause obesity, which leads to diabetes (which implies that sugar causes diabetes, and most of the research I have seen that follows the WHO and FAO guidelines for evidence in this area agrees that sugar has a more direct implication in diabetes than obesity, but I haven't had time to search out many of the references). I had thought your flag was about the biased view that the referenced article does list implications of sugar, while the quote made it look like it was saying there were not really any such impacts. I believe the article is an example of part-understanding of the reasons behind the discrepancies in issues, and possibly isn't a good article to quote since it is not of the calibre of most of the other quoted material, but useful to show that there is much of the population in the educated world that receives that mixed message, so I didn't want to remove it.
